Our Mission

To set the term Nuwaubian in its proper context, that the world may acknowledge this as our collective ethnic culture and heritage.

A Nuwaubian is a persons of color; born in the Americas, descendant of the original inhabitants of the continent known to us today as Africa, who through centuries of ethnic oppression and cultural suppression, are no longer able to identify with any individual modern tribe of the continent. Nuwaubians are by definition what is known today as African Americans.

Our Purpose

To establish Nuwaubian as the one ethnic identity for all descendants of America's formerly enslaved population. Nuwaubian people (Also known as African Americans, Black, Colored, Negro) have become totally dissatisfied and disenchanted with the contempt shown towards our people. We must take accountability for preserving and memorializing our own legacy, contributions to civilization, our true history, and to proclaim one identity ethnic identity.

Our Story

Welcome to "I Am Nuwaubian," a platform dedicated to sharing my journey and the philosophies that have shaped my life. My story is one of resilience and transformation, rooted in humble beginnings and fueled by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and self-improvement. As a high school dropout from a single-parent home, I faced the harsh realities of homelessness, selling drugs as a young man to make ends meet, and working multiple jobs to survive. Despite these challenges, I never lost sight of my dreams.

In 2007, I began my career in insurance in Alpharetta, GA, marking the start of a significant turning point in my life. Relocating to Houston, TX in 2013, I seized the opportunity for a second chance at education. Balancing work and studies, I earned an Associate degree in Real Estate and Business Administration from Houston Community College, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Insurance and Risk Management from the University of Houston Downtown, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Olivet. My journey reflects the core values of perseverance, hard work, and the transformative power of education. Through "I Am Nuwaubian," I aim to inspire others to pursue their path to Right Knowledge, Right Wisdom, and Right Overstanding, no matter their starting point.
